Terms of Service
Last updated: May 16, 2026
These Terms of Service govern your use of Promvel PDF, including the website, account console, cloud control plane, and any local compute components used with the service.
1. Service Scope
Promvel PDF is a PDF workflow product. Depending on the deployment mode, document processing may occur locally in your browser, on a direct console host, or in a worker you operate. In regulated local-compute mode, the cloud control plane is intended to handle metadata only and not raw PDF file contents.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate signup information and keep your contact details current.
3. Acceptable Use
You may not use the service to violate law, infringe rights, interfere with system operation, bypass quotas or rate limits, upload malicious content, or attempt unauthorized access to any tenant, worker, account, or infrastructure.
4. Billing
Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe-hosted checkout and billing portal flows. We do not store full payment card details. Stripe acts as the payment processor and may maintain separate records required for billing, tax, fraud prevention, and regulatory compliance.
5. Data Handling Boundaries
You are responsible for choosing an appropriate deployment mode for your documents. If you operate in local-compute mode, you are also responsible for the devices, worker hosts, storage paths, and networks under your control. If you configure a deployment that sends files to remote infrastructure, your privacy posture changes accordingly.
6. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for abuse, security risk, non-payment, or violation of these terms. You may delete your account through the product settings. Certain billing and compliance records may be retained where required by law.
7. Disclaimers
The service is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We do not warrant uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or fitness for every regulated, archival, or mission-critical use case.
8. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Promvel PDF and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the service.
9. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after an update becomes effective means the updated terms apply to your future use.
10. Contact
